Horses have always been the inspiration behind Pat Wozniak's artwork. Pat has mastered the art of equine anatomy in a way that is aesthetically incomparable. Her graphite and colored images of both animals and people also convey the quality of "touchable realism" in hair fur, and skin.

In 2002 she was inducted into the Society of Animal Artists, the only international art organization devoted solely to animal art. The Society selected one of her works, "Mirror of History", to hang in their 43rd Annual Art and the Animal Exhibit. This piece was chosen to be included as part of the extended national tour which is currently touring and is scheduled to conclude in January 2005 at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History. Additionally, Pat's "Equus Nobilis" garnered second place in the pencil division at last year's Western States Horse Expo.

Pat's works have received awards each year she has entered the Western States Horse Expo art show, including best in the pencil division. Other exhibits include the American Academy of Equine Artisits, Equifestival in Kentucky, and the El Camino Real Derby Exhibit in California. Her work has also appeared several times on the cover of the Chronicle of the Horse and Horse Show Magazine produced by the United States Equestrian Federation (formerly AHSA). Pat's pieces can also be found in private collections throughout the United States, Germany, Switzerland, and Italy.

In September of 2002 Pat became the primary artist for Chic Skins Leather Fashions of Sonoma, CA. Her work is turning heads, whether it's the Grand Ole Opry or in Tinsel Town itself. Chic Skins are worn by the likes of celebrities such as Bo Derek and country artist Alan Jackson. Similarly, her work appears on an exclusive line of custom fine leather furniture by Northwest Native Designs.

Born in Boston, MA, Pat earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Massachusetts College of Art, Department of Illustration. She currently resides in Scottsdale, AZ and is an avid horsewoman and dressage competitor.
