A Horse Named Spirit
January 1st, 2003
Phoenix's very own  3TV visited us to bring you an endearing story about a horse named "Spirit". This horse had been release into the AZ desert - only to be picked up after some time, then taken to an auction where it was to be sold!
This 14 year old only weighed 550lbs and was not even sellable. We rescued this loving horse for 12.50 (yes, only twelve dollars and 50 cents).The story aired on the 10PM news cast on January 1st, 2003 in Phoenix.
It is our hope that this is yet another way to bring attention to what is really happening with some horses in our community.
